This simplified model gives a first approach for information purposes — it does not take into account the mechanical aspects imposing a certain geometry on the blades. It calculates the propeller's efficiency at a specified operating point, precise to ±5%. E-Props engineers run more detailed calculations and analysis to define the aerodynamic geometry and mechanical behavior of the blade under load — the LUKY software was built for this purpose. Every E-Props propeller is designed for a specific configuration, engine and pilot specification.
